"We did get an upgrade to beach view which was the best thing at this resort. BEAUTIFUL VIEW! Not happy about: 1. had to pay for parking all days except Monday-Wednesday. 2. Sky Bar - bar and grille did not have friendly staff. 3. Room was very small but clean-comfortable double queens, no table, and bathroom was very small. 4. Coffee pot in room but no coffee station in lobby like most hotels/resorts, they wanted you to buy their very expensive coffee and high priced breakfast/lunch. 5. As for entertainment - there really was none. 6. Hot tubs were not hot or not working. Heated pool was closed off and on during our week stay. "

"We LOVED the location, right at the marina, and the room was very nice, clean and bright and had decedent size and amenities. Downsides: (a) rooms had shutters and not room darkening shades, so bring an eyeshade. (b) the remote for the tv was extremely confusing, it was really hard to figure it out! And we could not cast prime or netflix, the cable had just crappy shows running which is unusual for most hotels nowadays (c) The Pool was dirty by 3 pm, I'm not sure if they were running the filter during the day, it was oily and had floaties of some sort in it, maybe bird poop as we saw some crows taking a bath on the stairs. (d) The Pool Bar was a good idea in theory, but poorly executed - the staff appeared unorganized and overworked, there dirty plastic and haf fileld cups and dishes not only at bar tops but around the whole pool area - the place was being not cleaned up. We were there during Easter/spring break weekend, which was busy everywhere, tho, so i cut them some slack on that. Overall, however, we would definitely stay here again, we thought the price was fair for the overall stay, and we liked being across from the pier. Parking is $20 across the street but it was easy to leave the car and take the Jolley Trolley everywhere out of clearwater beach."

"Room view was poor, roof top had continuous birds, and I couldn't see over it even if I were able to go outside, which I wasn't thanks to the rooftop tenants/birds who were very loud."

"i have stayed here several times over the years even when they had the two level across the street i have stayed there also, it has always been a nice enjoyable experience the only thing that disappointed me a bit was the water pressure in the sink and shower, and the plugs would not hold my tablet, and phone chargers the plugs were loose and would not hold plugs, even without moving the plugs they would let loose and things stopped charging but everything else was great it is one of the older places to stay and close to the beach, restaurants, bars, and gift shopping. "

"This property has retained its beauty throughout the years. The property is clean and the staff pleasant. That said, there is not much around the property as it is out of the way a bit. This allows it to capitalize on convenience through its escalated pricing for even the most basic of amenities. Think of it more like a captive audience. The bathroom showed signs of wear and regardless of the time of day or night, the water pressure in the shower was barely enough to make it out of the shower head. The toilet was extremely close to the wall and would not allow sufficient clearance for a larger person to sit comfortably. The rooms air filter was completely clogged, well past a preventative maintenance change. "

"Staff is great, super outdated hotel. We are staying in another hotel next to hilton now and huge difference. Hilton was not clean. Pool bathrooms are gross they barely clean the dishes around the pool, carpet is old. Balcony we face to is soooo loud bc of all the ac stuff you cannot enjoy your balcony. Nowhere to actually lounge and enjoy inside everyrhing is like 1960s outdated weird vibe hotel Location is incredible tho. And private beach access is great. Beach is super nice. but room cleaning is meh. When we arrived in the room there was a used soap on the shampoo dispenser. And they didn’t clean that for a while. Bathroom shower is rusty. Old furniture. Pool towels are old, pool is not clean. Idk overall all that money not sure if it was worth it. Food and drinks are ok. The only thing I liked was the location and the staff. "

"Elevator was down but luckily we were only on the second floor. Everything is of course super expensive. Overall it was a great get away."
