Guatay Vacation Packages

This is a member of Historic Hotels of America. The exterior fire escapes testify to its age, but the interiors have been nicely updated. The bath is nice, the Nespresso works. Flavored wter on offer in the lobby. The rooms are not large but efficiently laid out. Although there is a restaurant on site, our late arrival coincided with a decision to close early, so we went to bed with only a cup of coffee and some cheetos. Although several websites indicated there was an airport shuttle, a call to confirm this revealed it was not true. BUT there is a city bus from the airport (not the easiest to locate) that stops just across the street. The location allows walking to the waterfront, Little Italy, the Gaslamp Quarter, and even the baseball stadium. Overall we were pleased with this hotel.

We stay here all the time and everything is always great! The kids love it. They’re renovating the market area so we might wait until later on in the year again to come back.

check in receptionists with a non-caring attitude, never mentioned my food and beverage credits. Assigned us to a very old place

I loved the everything about the property except being blindsided with a $70 a night charge fo parking which I think is excessive and should have been made known in advance.
