"Absolutely wonderful place to stay in the Arenal Volcano area. We were there for five nights and enjoyed seeing many species of birds both from their large observation deck and on the birding walk with Nestor and the Nature walks with Christian. The view of the volcano and lovely Arenal Lake is magnificent! Also saw several cute and friendly coatis and a spider monkey mama cuddling her baby up in the trees. The staff, though, is the BEST part of staying here! They are all friendly, attentive and accommodating to your wishes or needs. Can't say enough good things about this aspect of the hotel! "We had a fantastic time at Los Lagos. The room was comfortable, well equipped and clean. The hot spring pools were amazing and clean. We really appreciated the natural setting and natural pools woven around the hotel and pools, which attracted wildlife. The breakfast buffet was great including good vegetarian options. Staff were great. Would definitely go back! "

"Manoa was excellent overall. I travelled with my elderly mom and we had a great time. Everything is handicapped accessible. The rooms wer spacious and clean. Our view was fantastic. The food was awesome with a great selection. Service was excellent. Would definitely come back to this same location. Well done Manoa!"

"We loved Lost Iguana! This is our second trip to Costa Rica and our first to the Arenal Volcano area. The hotel grounds were lovely and very close to the Hanging Bridges. We booked a full day tour (bridges, volcano, waterfall) and spent the other two days hanging out at the pool/pool bar. We ate at the hotel restaurant for most of our meals and thought it was good and the price was reasonable. The breakfast buffet was also great. The hotel trail was also great (takes about 45 minutes). Be prepared to walk a lot of hilly terrain!"
