"The location was superb as it was literally a minute walk from the Grindewald station, and it's on the quieter side of the town. Staff were excellent, professional, helpful with advice. The breakfast was superb with a great variety and plenty of comfortable seating. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Regina. The hotel is right by the train station and within close proximity of many hiking trails. The staff members were welcoming, spoke excellent English, and provided directions and advice on nearby activities. The hotel breakfast was included with our room, and was an impressive buffet meal."

"The rooms and bathrooms have been nicely upgraded and are clean. The views are ectraordinary. Breakfast is excellent. The reception area, hallways and stairways are dark and tired looking. There is sometimes a lot of loud partying on the streets late at night outside and this can make it difficult to sleep."

"To our surprise Wengen is an extremely busy village. Not the peaceful Village as has been advertised. The accommodations were very good, but be prepared to be very self sufficient. Not what you are used to in a hotel with front desk reception. Reception hours are limited. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our main concerns were the outdoor deck below the rooms on the back side. This deck converts to pub at 4:00 ish that played very loud music until 10:00. So after a long day in the mountains we came back to our room, only to be greeted by this noise which was VERY disappointing. Also, to our surprise there was 1 kettle down in the ski room in the basement. So morning and evening tea meant running up and down 4 flights of stairs."

"I visited in the last week of May and my 3:00pm check-in there was issue with the room so it took longer till 4 o’clock to give me the room. I was given 50 Frac voucher. But in Switzerland at a resort, doesn’t get too much for missing an hour. My room was a corner panoramic view of Iger. It’s a little bit expensive than a standard room even with that maintenance delayed that room‘s water glass hard, dry food stuck to it. The chips under the bed, the carpet and the leather bench holes from rips. That room is too expensive without any amenities."
