We had an apartment just off the main building with a private bedroom, a large bed, and a single bed in the living area. The kitchenette was well-equipped for simple meals. Breakfast was excellent — fresh breads and great coffee — and there’s always hot coffee available downstairs. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Location is perfect: about a 10-minute walk from the main station, 5 minutes to Grindelwald First, and a grocery store right below. The two Italian girls working the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Our room was beautful with views of the Swiss Alps. The second day we got back to the hotel after a long hike, and found that our room hadn't been cleand yet. We told this fact to the manager that staff forgot to make up our room. Then, amazingly, he didn't ask the staff to do it, he started cleaning himself and finished it properly. He was also very nice. He introduced us good restaurant and gave us lots of valuable information. And breakfast was also very good.
