« Reception check in was smooth and friendly. Consideration of an event being held on a Saturday evening was communicated to us so we were put on the higher level floor (2) so we didn't get disturbedby the noise. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy, ironing board and hairdryer were supplied in the room along with coffee and tea making facilities. All the staff were very helpful and polite. Very reasonable room rates for an extremely comfy and clean hotel. »

Le pavillon est tout proche (2 minutes à pied) du bâtiment principal où se prennent les repas. Excellent séjour, nuit reposante. »

« Staff were absolutely incredible. Dianna on reception was courteous, polite and ever so helpful. Thank you for making me feel like home during my stay. Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. The young bar staff were also very kind and welcoming. »

« Room had a wet mouldy smell, didnt get any better with airing out. The hotel is located in a industrial area Bathroom was worn but not the worst. The food at the connected resturant was bland but they had great understanding of gluten free. Overall was okay but wouldnt stay here again, especially at the price point. »

« Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. « Stayed in the windmill for just one night after arriving from France after a long drive. What a place! Gorgeous old English pub with lots of places to smack your head and absolutely nothing is straight… the room itself is lovely and simple with a great bed and everything you could need. We went down for a beer and a meal and all of the staff were lovely and could not do enough for you.. the meal was fantastic, I took, with my son, the beef Wellington which is the best I have ever had, even...

"La chambre et le resto était en bon état. Chambre spacieuse, petit déjeuner très bon, le personnel du soir pas très sympa. Le reste del’infrastructure est vieillotte. Le rdc ok. La décoration est accueillante. Par contre, les chambres doivent être revues de fond en comble. Sdb, tv, vitrage. Literie correcte. Revoir aussi les ascenseurs. "
