Large free car park if you are a resident and you must register your number plate in reception, really friendly lady on reception. I requested a high floor and that’s what I received. Nice sized room which you would expect from Holiday Inn, decent restaurant and bar area with a nice beer garden. The walk to our room took about 5 mins and was not easy with a child. We even requested to get a room closer because we had a child but were told everything is fully booked. We then saw two young men who came after our reservation and were given a much closer room (no difference in the type of room). The hotel phone was not working, when we complained, they asked us to use our mobile phone and call the number on the website to speak to someone in reception. The room & whole building is a bit old especially the telephone!! The tv is old, remote control missing lid at the back just like many hotels.... The air condition is not working as it's probably too old. The breakfast is ok (2 for 12 pounds), but no fried eggs available for some reason, also hot chocolate from the machine is very very sweet even after I put half a cup of milk in.
