King Charles Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Nice comfortable hotel in convenient position for exploring the Royal Engineers museum and the Historic Chatham boatyard. Also, only a short drive from Leeds Castle which was well worth visiting. Bar and food prices were reasonable and the food was excellent. Staff were very helpful and the lounge and bar were comfortable."
Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel

"The hotel was very clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast was great value and staff were very helpful. Parts of the hotel were rather "tired" but it did not affect our stay. We did have a problem with our room key but it was unfortunate. None of our friends who also stayed had any issues with theirs. I would definitely stay there again."

"Hotel in fab central location , although paid £10 for parking behind hotel , it was worth the convince. Room 8 was great , so spacious with lovely view and comfy bed . Breakfast was good in an attractive dining area . A good 1 night break"

"Hotel is a little tired compared to last time we stayed. Food also not as good as it was. Needs some TLC to bring it back to more than a wedding venue or golf retreat."

"Great hotel, right on the beach with excellent and attentive staff, Our dual aspect sea view room was a good size and bed was very comfortable, but it could do with a little bit of updating (that's being picky... it certainly did not affect our stay)."
The Spa Hotel

"We had three nights in the Spa Hotel and we had a very comfortable room on floor 3 with pleasant views out on the extensive grounds of the Hotel. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The Orangery is a pleasant place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is plenty parking. Overall an ideal place to stay in Tunbridge Wells."

"This was our second stay , this time for 2 nights. A warm friendly welcome at reception,quickly booked in and up too our room's. Good well appointed room , clean and comfy. Good food and service in the Martello bar. A great base for visiting Port Lympne animal park and exploring the local area with the added bonus of being a short walk to the seafront and Hythe Town centre."
