"Great for longer stays. We arrived very late to the Estate and enjoyed our brief visit, but it wasn't a good fit for our needs on this trip. The parking lots were relatively far from the rooms, so check-in was more cumbersome than we expected. Breakfast service ended too early for us on this occasion. This is a better option for a weekend getaway than a quick travel stop. The grounds and architecture are impressive and the amenities abound."

"The facility is keep in excellent condition. Built in 1915 the building and grounds are a jewel. Dinner in the historic main dining room was outstanding. The only negative was the breakfast in the downstairs cafe. Poor quality and service. I suggest you eat breakfast elsewhere."

"The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The room was clean and nicely appointed, but some of the furniture was dated and scratched up. The bathtub has the strangest mechanism to operate it and the way to get hot water is counter intuitive. The biggest problem is the lighting. I feel that there is not enough lamps for the suite that I was staying at, and the wattage was so low on the bulbs that the room was very dim with all the lights on."

"Not happy that we had to pay an extra $100 to have our 2 dogs with us. We booked it with pets. Shower bathing supplies were empty. Pretty unimpressed with Hotels.com. Never using them again."
