Granger Vacation Packages

We booked this hotel because it was one of the more affordable options and conveniently located on the way to a concert at the Gorge. The room itself was dark, hot, and had a damp, musty smell. Thankfully, there was an air conditioner, and it cooled the room down fairly quickly. Before we even left home, we decided we'd rather stay there after the concert instead of the night before, so we contacted Expedia to change our reservation by one day. Expedia was helpful and willing to accommodate the request, but the hotel manager refused to authorize the change. From what we could tell, the hotel had plenty of availability, so moving the reservation by one day would have been simple. The lack of flexibility was disappointing and left us with a poor impression of the hotel's management. That said, everyone we interacted with at the hotel was kind, courteous, and reasonable. Our frustration isn't with the front desk staff, who were pleasant and professional, but with the manager's decision not to allow what seemed like a simple reservation change.

The room was nice and clean, a clump of hair was visible on the floor. S The LVP floor looks like it was installed improperly, especially in the bathroom. Staff was great, breakfast was disappointing. Did not use the pool.

This Day's Inn had one of the friendliest and most personable check-in clerks we ever encountered--BRAVO! The inn seems to have recently been renovated and the room was super clean and comfortable. The shower featured a great hold bar-nice for oldies. The inn is provided a nice complimentary breakfast. One drawback was that the one and only drink machine was out of order (the clerk revealed this machine often does not work)--so stop at a nearby convenience store. Otherwise, this motel was great for a basic stay.

The hotel staff were very kind and upgraded us, so it was a wonderful trip. However, the staff at the casino seemed unwilling to work and were unfriendly.
