8.2/10 Very good! (182 reviews)
The room was very clean, decent amenities including a bar service, coffee, tea. The Air conditioning worked perfectly. However the toilet bowl could be better sanitized with disinfectant, some towels were still damp but enough were provided including for the beach. The food was fair with a good breakfast buffet. Beach access and amenities were excellent. The staff were helpful but there were many trainees and few seasoned staff. Overall it was a very comfortable stay. The promised bottle of wine per night never materialized.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (31 reviews)
We had a relaxing stay overall. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the beach was lovely. However, recurring issues with communication, follow-through and attention to detail affected our experience.
On arrival, the robe was dirty and a few items had been left by previous guests.
Before arrival, I asked about a special dinner but was directed towards the usual restaurants. During our stay, we discovered private dining was an option. We were also incorrectly told entertainment was only on Thursdays and Saturdays, so missed a live performance.
Food was disappointing and did not feel like fine dining, with inconsistent quality and incorrect orders. Being half board, we ate out more than planned due to the food and drink quality.
Smaller requests, including water deliveries, were missed, and promised feedback at check-out did not happen. Sound insulation through the connecting door was poor, with the neighbouring shower, TV and toilet clearly audible.
The evening atmosphere felt more procedural than relaxed, with the bar winding down around 9:40pm, music turned off while staff completed paperwork.
Dimitry on the beach deserves special mention for being consistently welcoming and attentive. The spa was clean and our couples massage was excellent, with special thanks to Greeta and Sandy.
We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as clearer communication and better follow-through could make a real difference.

9/10 Wonderful! (123 reviews)
The Bay Club was a wonderful resort in a really convenient location. We went as a family of 4 with two young kids 9 and 11 years old, and everyone loved it. We stayed in a 3 bed ocean view ground floor appartment which felt like home away from home.
We were full board and stayed for two weeks, the food was delicious, and the portions were big.
The resort had all the amenieties you could ever want and a beach house that had complimentary water sports like pedalo, paddle board, kayak etc. There was a free shuttle boat that took you to Ile aux Cerfs Island every 30 mins (beautiful beach and clear water).
The best thing about the resort was the staff, everyone from the buggy drivers to the kitchen staff, kids club team, cleaning crew, main reception staff, pool staff, beach hut guys and shuttle boat driver were absolutely wonderfull, they really made our 20th wedding anniversary trip one to remember.
I don't have enough words to thank them all, but I must thank the main reception staff for helping us adapt our booking to make us more comfortable (thank you), no request was too difficult for the staff, they always tried to find a way to help. Also Mr Eddie in the main restaurant was outstanding and will forever be remembered by our family. He was so lovely , kind , friendly and helpful, and he and lots of other staff made the resort feel like a family. Also our friend from Argentina who made the pizzas was supper nice and made amazing pizzas. Thank you to all the staff.

"Does what it says on the tin. Plastic pool glasses always dirty. Restaurant amazing choice but “other” à la carte restaurants just offer more of the same. Clean room. Consider this a good option for cheaper Mauritius stay but wouldn’t class a luxury hotel"
