Ideal for several families and particularly welcoming for children, it boasts a "kid barn," a treehouse, a heated pool operational from April through October, and a hot tub available throughout the year. Conveniently located within biking distance to the Lunch Loops Trailhead for mountain biking and hiking adventures, it's also just a short drive from downtown retail and dining, the majestic Colorado National Monument, golf courses, wine tasting excursions, river rafting, and the slopes of Powderhorn for downhill skiing. As you step into the main house, you're welcomed by a spacious, well-appointed kitchen—the heart of the home—perfect for cooking and gathering. Just to the right, you’ll find a stylish half bath and the main living room, thoughtfully furnished for comfort and relaxation. Adjacent to this space is a bright and airy reading nook, surrounded by windows and filled with natural light. Nearby, the dining area features a large table that comfortably seats eight—ideal for shared meals and conversation. Upstairs, you’ll discover four beautifully themed bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The Blue Room features a luxurious king-sized bed and a walk-in closet. The Green Room also offers a comfy king bed, perfect for restful nights. The Orange Room includes a cozy queen bed. The Yellow Room is great for kids or guests, with two comfy twin beds. One upstairs bathroom includes a bathtub and shower combination, while the other has a spacious walk-in shower. Head down to the lower level to find a convenient half bath and a full laundry room with a washer and dryer. There’s also a Kid’s Room featuring a twin-over-twin and twin-over-full bunk bed and plenty of toys to keep little ones entertained. Also on the basement level is the luxurious Master Suite, complete with a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and private en suite bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower. The suite also has its own private entrance to the backyard for added convenience and privacy. In addition to the main house, you'll enjoy a charming detached Guest House. This self-contained space includes a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom, a small washer and dryer, and a cozy bedroom with a queen bed and walk-in closet. The living area features a queen-sized sleeper sofa, providing even more space for guests. Step outside into the beautifully designed backyard oasis. You’ll find: Two bar areas—one with a grill and mini fridge, and another with a sink, mini fridge and storage—perfect for crafting margaritas and entertaining. A heated saltwater pool, hot tub, and two fire pits, each surrounded by comfortable, decorative seating for evening relaxation. A Kid Barn stocked with toys and a whimsical treehouse with a swing for outdoor fun. This property is designed to delight guests of all ages, offering comfort, charm, and plenty of space to relax, play, and make lasting memories. No Events or Parties Allowed: Violations may result in immediate eviction and/or loss of reservation cost. Law Enforcement Involvement: If law enforcement is called due to disturbances or violations of house rules, the guest may be subject to immediate eviction without refund. Noise Monitoring: Noise levels at the property are actively monitored using noise detection devices. Guests are expected to maintain respectful volume levels at all times. Quiet Hours: Quiet time is enforced from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM according to local ordinance). We hosted a family reunion and the spaces for gathering, both inside and out were perfect. We especially enjoyed the pool area and the large, open kitchen. There was also ample space for quiet moments for reading or napping. We played volleyball in the pool, horseshoes on the lawn, and card games around the firepit. The buildings were equipped with everything we could possibly need (the extra full bath in the pool house was so great to have!) and the manager responded immediately when we had a few questions. The property is within riding/walking distance of the Lunch Loops bike trail system and the paved road leading to the monument, and only a few minutes from groceries and gas. We did have to empty a few garbages upon arrival. Also, all the kitchen knives need a serious sharpening with some cutting better with the spine (upside down). Some on the beds were very poor - the guest house bedroom was so worn it slept one couple like a taco (both rolling to the middle), and the sofa sleeper was so poor, we used the floor for that one.Pool & hot tub were great, as were the outdoor gathering areas. Kitchens and dining areas were good as well. Bathrooms & linens were good. One neighbor complained about noise, but our noise was silenced before 10 pm each night. Not sure what they were hearing, or perhaps they thought quiet time was suppose to be earlier. Either case, no offense taken here. We liked the place and the many area hikes, and perhaps with some bed and cutlery improvements, we will likely book again. ##### David W. The small bedroom upstairs w queen bed had nasal discharge on the blanket (gross) and the occupants of the room wondered if the sheets had been laundered. The white rugs in both upstairs bathrooms were very dirty. Also we were in the middle of cooking a big meal on the outdoor grill and ran out of propane. The outdoor space is top-notch and we had so much fun in the pool. Every detail was thought through. The kitchen had nearly everything one could need, and we really appreciated the policy of not throwing everything away after each guest. So, the fridge had a few staples, like mustard or salad dressing, that would be a waste to throw out each time. Same with spices and oil. Also, we loved how every light switch was labeled and we didn't have to purchase cleaning supplies or paper products. The easy check-out procedure was also great. We didn't have to do laundry, for example. The communication in advance and during our stay was also great. And, the location is fabulous. There was plenty of room for all of us and so much to do. Not to mention it is beautifully decorated and super clean. The kids had so much fun going from the tree house to the pool. We could have spent our whole trip just hanging out at the house but it is also so close to hiking, biking and downtown. We will definitely be back and only wished we could have stayed longer!
