« My husband and I stayed four nights at Leah’s place. She and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts. Very, very nice people. :) Great location if you want something quiet with beautiful view over the mountain. it’s very close to Island Pond and also to Silvio Conte wildlife refuge. If we go back to Vermont, we will definitely stay there again. Thank you so much, Leah. We had a wonderful time! »

« Beautiful quiet and peaceful area, me and my daughter enjoyed a mini getaway to Faraway Pond. The adorable cottage had all the amenities needed and we loved the scenic view of the pond and the kayaks. Got some awesome sunset pictures! Mary was super responsive and thoughtful. We wouldn't hesitate to come back for another visit. I bet the Fall foliage is gorgeous. »

The kitchen has everything you need to make full meals you can enjoy in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the stunning valley. « Our stay was wonderful and relaxing. We were not in the town but 20 mn walk from it. The town made me feel I was in a hallmark movie . The back view of the house was so relaxing. The kitchen was very large and the house was very comfortable. There is no AC in the house which we knew, but the fans were useful during the day and made it cool enough for early august. The nights were perfect. »

« We were delighted with how new and well outfitted the house is. Loved the large screen porch with 4 rocking chairs and all the Adirondack chairs on the wharf. The bright yellow chairs on the wharf were so cheerful and made it easy to find our way back when out on the lake.
