I love the property

My husband, son, and I recently stayed here for a college visit. We checked in late on a Wednesday night, about 9:30. The front desk guy was very friendly and professional. When we got to our room, everything looked great. However, after getting ready for bed, I walked past the a/c and it was leaking and the carpet was all wet. I called the front desk, and he said "thanks for letting us know." My husband thought it was odd, because there was A LOT of water on the floor. A few minutes later, the manager called to see if we would be willing to change rooms. We agreed and packed our stuff up. He met us at our door a few minutes later with the key to the suite next door. He also asked us to keep the key to the original room in case we forgot anything in our hasty packup, which was very considerate. The new room was great and everything worked well. The breakfast was good each morning, with several hot options. We will likely stay there again when we are in Tyler. The manager's response was quick and efficient, as well as considerate. I only gave the property 4 stars because there was SO MUCH water on the floor... housekeeping should have noticed the leak when they were in the room, which would have prevented us having to pack up and move late at night.

Not bad at all and the owners are very friendly people. Actually want a cutting off of that plant they have in the office and I forgot to ask. Maybe next time I'm driving through Palestine I'll remember and stop in. I don't know what kind of plant it is but it's really cool.
