"Great location, everything you need for one night stay "

"Oatlands Park is a decent, older hotel. The staff are great.,, all very professional and kind. The rooms are pleasant and clean. Both times we stayed there, weddings were underway. The property is large enough to accommodate wedding guests as well as other travelers. The bar is small but has the basics. The formal dining area is lovely. Breakfast was just “ok”. Wb nice if an omelette station or daily specials (like quiche or breakfast casseroles) were added to the buffet. Whilst the grounds have amazing trees and areas to walk, the gardens themselves are in MAJOR need of grooming and upkeep. The property would truly be transformed if the grounds were tended to! "

"We were able to check in very early after an overnight flight, which is a big plus. Modern, clean hotel, spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast (except for the coffee, try the tea) included with room. Dinners also very good. Inexpensive shuttle bus for 5 minute ride to Gatwick for trains to London and flights. "

"We had a 2 night stay in Guildford - the hotel is really well appointed, nice bar and great breakfast selection.
Rooms are a good size with decent beds / shower etc as you would expect at this price point.
Staff were helpful throughout the hotel.
Decent gym although the pool is a relaxing pool, not one for swimming lengths in. "
