Goatanbridge Vacation Packages

We were there on a Saturday night, near the back of the hotel. Had we been told in advance that there would be a party outside our windows so loud we couldn’t sleep until 2:30 AM we would have gone elsewhere.

We only stayed for one night but it was a great place to relax. We walked around the castle grounds and the kids loved the pool. The staff were really friendly. We liked that there was a pub on site.

Great hotel, stayed here many times. Short walk to the centre, direct regular bus transfer from outside the hotel to and from shannon airport - route 343, cost €8.60 one way. We booked an exec room which gives access to the exec lounge, offering here is a little basic but the room is nice. My only feedback would be to suggest that the coffee machine in the room needs updating.

We enjoyed our stay. There were several issues we had but they were taken care of promptly by the staff when we spoke to them. Our room was a king bed “executive” room. It had good work space, storage for clothes, a coffee maker with coffee pods and a hot water maker for tea and instant coffee. Glasses of a couple different sizes, a refrigerator (it didn’t work but was replaced right away), charger plug for portable devices by the bed, and adequate plugs around the room. A small table and chair were two could sit at using the desk chair. Room lighting was good. Sun beat down on our windows in the afternoon heating up the room to the point where the air conditioner couldn’t keep up, so the staff brought in a fan that really helped. Decent breakfast, good bar and bar food. Great central location. We would stay there again.
