This property has very minimal parking, and is primarily street parking. It does not have a front desk staff, but staff working in the bar area were helpful when asked questions. Good continental breakfast, which we had most mornings. The room is pretty small, but didn’t bother us, as we were spending most of our time exploring. Overall a good place to stay.

Hotel in a area with lots of good restaurants, shopping. We secured a really large room which was quite nice. We were going to stay additional nights but the room above us made so much noise just walking about their room starting at 430 am and the noise and vibration from downstairs was also annoying
The church across the street rang Church bells all thru the night
It definitely was not a great idea

If you're in Reykjavik and want a DOWNTOWN, CENTRAL space to stay, THIS is it. Bus Stop #3...which is a super common bus stop for tours, airport transit, etc. is just ~2-3 blocks east. As for hotel, it's very quiet, clean and safe and I was up high (6th floor) and even on Fri/Sat the sound wasn't bad. The window can be cracked to let cool air in (which is good - the heat knobs can be finnicky/warm up room too much). The staff are super nice and the cat (Bactus?) is adorable. But seriously - the location is terrific. Staff will even show the best place to buy food (Kronen, like ~5-6 blocks east) to save lots of $$$ over closer 24/7 store 2 blocks away. Easy walking to Lava Show, Whales Of Iceland, boats, ferris wheel, etc. PERFECT FOR SOLO TRAVELERS.
