"We did not like that there was no shuttle to and from the airport. The airport is so far away. The restaurant and bar closed promptly at 11 and we would have liked even a little bit longer. The Starbucks closed super early. We wish there was more information about visiting Halifax. We would have loved information about where to go and what to see since it was our first time visiting."

"Our stay was made wonderful thanks to the incredible hotel staff. From check in to housekeeping, every person we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful and extremely accommodating regardless of time of day or night. Any request we made, even late at night, was taken care of quickly and with a smile. Traveling with multiple kids can be challenging, but the staff made everything feel easy and comfortable. The daily breakfast service was one of the best parts of our stay. The variety was fantastic and there was always something each child enjoyed. It was a great way to start the day and we truly hope the hotel never changes that. The room itself is beginning to show its age. The plumbing could use attention, as the toilet flushed slowly and loudly, and the shower drained so poorly that we often ended up standing in a pool of water. The paint and wallpaper are starting to wear, and the bathroom door frequently got stuck. If it was closed all the way, it took some effort to open again. The light in the prep area outside the bathroom also took a few seconds to turn on, which was noticeable. Even with these issues, the service and overall atmosphere more than made up for them. The warmth of the staff and the family friendly environment left us feeling appreciated and well cared for. We would happily stay again, especially once the rooms receive a refresh."
