Girard Vacation Packages

All is well. We liked the room and used the pool and hot tub on both nights. We have been here before and we might stay again the next time we will be in St. Louis. The area seems quiet and safe around the hotel.

There are certain things we expect to find in a motel room. A suitcase rack or bench to keep your suitcase off the floor and off the bed. None in our room and apparently none in any of the rooms. We used the ironing board. Risky. For the two of us, elderly, we only had a small computer chair and a straight back chair, most motels offer a soft overstuff chair. So no place for one person to sit except on the bed. Not enough lighting in the room. Difficult to adjust the room thermostat. And the thermostat had a large lit up screen that could not be dimmed for sleeping. It was like having a floodlight shining on you all night. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel/motel to anyone.

Best hotel we've stayed at in MO. It's like a mini Drake hotel but not in Chicago, IL. Safe and secure parking, staff pleasant and resoursefull, clean and comfortable rooms and All amenities, Restaurants on site would come back just to dine at. There was not one bad thing to say about this hotel.
