Great location in the old city section of Valletta. Highly recommend

We stayed on the 6th floor and the view was spectacular. The room was large with a gorgeous outdoor terrace but sadly it had not been cleaned. We needed to clean this area before we sat there - we then were able to enjoy this lovely space overlooking the harbour and city. Our room included a small kitchenette - not really suitable to cook a meal. Expedia lists this hotel with a laundry - it does not, you need to pay per item. The staff were kind, thoughtful and very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The location is walkable to all main attractions, close to restaurants and cafes. Just be aware it is a very difficult place to arrive on foot with large/heavy luggage as there are LOADS of stairs and hills. If you take a cab to the Grand Harbour Hotel (best option)- it is ‘only’ about 50 steps up to the hotel - doable. There are no staff to help you with your luggage as it is a small boutique hotel. Would I stay here again, absolutely, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.

This is an excellent little hotel, that’s uniquely brought to life by its owners. As it’s small, the owners and their staff are way more attentive than would be possible in a large hotel, including giving tips on things to do and where to go to us Malta first timers. Zebbug itself is a small village, but bars and restaurants are a short walk away. Though the streets around the hotel are tight and the bolt/uber drivers we used occasionally struggled to find us. That said, the area is centrally located and a great base to visit places like Rabat, Mdina, Blue Grotto and Valletta (once we were more confident in directing the taxi drivers) . Highly recommended if you want somewhere with personality and hosts who genuinely care.

Amazing boutique hotel within the walls of Mdina. Very welcoming on arrival and made it clear they were there to help. We had a lovely room with a panoramic view and all the amenities you need. The fully served breakfast is fantastic. It was all beautifully presented with a wide variety - special mention to Lindsay who looked after us, she was brilliant. Our complete dining experience in De Mondian restaurant was exceptional! The hotel has a pool - not on site but a five min drive away (shuttle provided as & when) and we spent a very pleasant few hours there one afternoon away from the hustle and bustle. Fabulous couple of days at the end of our trip to Malta.

From the minute we arrived the staff was amazing. Mercyline offered so much help to me with my issue with Wizz Air. She went way above what would be expected next JONAIDA has a smile that is infectious and so welcoming first thing in the morning at an incredible breakfast. But it was BHIM who stole the show! He makes the best cappuccinos anywhere in Europe!! Then, the next time you turn around, he’s making cocktails for you. he is a hard worker. He has a wonderful, charming personality and honestly felt like we made a friend. the next time in Malta we definitely will stay at the Gomerino hotel. The location is perfect. Everything is right in front of you. I highly recommend you stay here.
