Where to stay in Getxo

Getxo is a residential town close to Bilbao. Hardly anyone speaks English, but they are all very nice and there’s tons a small places serving pintxos and drinks. This ‘hanging bridge’ is the Bizkaia Bridge, a transportation device that bring cars and people across the river between Getxo and Portugalete.

On the beach - literally
"Nice Hotel on the beach in Getxo, Bilbao. Excellent view from the room towards the beach. The restaurants were closed for renovation / change of owner and this meant no food was available in the hotel. There are restaurants close by and this covered up for this."
