Welcome to Ariskey, a beautiful 2400 sq. ft. water front villa overlooking Elizabeth Harbor and its amazing clear water and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The house is located in February Point, a gated upscale community with amenities such as tennis courts, private beaches, infinity pools, beach side restaurant, spa, fitness center, and a private marina; all at about 2 minutes walking from the house. It is the perfect place for couples and families looking to relax in a place filled with natural beauty and unpretentious ambiance. Ariskey was designed to highlight the views of turquoise waters from every room. It has 2,400 sq. ft. open plan and features a deck and gazebo overlooking Elizabeth Harbor. It has been tastefully yet comfortably decorated, it is fully tiled, and there are ceiling fans in every room along with central air conditioning. The ground floor comprises the entrance hall, the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, and half bath. The living room has two sofas, two chairs, and two garden stools; stunning ocean views, and French doors that lead out into to the garden deck and gazebo. It has a flat screen Smart TV. The dining room table seats 6 to 8\. The kitchen has all the appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, full-sized fridge and oven range. It has a breakfast bar with 2 barstools for additional seating. It is fully stocked with all of the cookware, place settings and everything you’ll need to cook and entertain. There is also a dining table that sits four and grill in the terrace for al fresco dining. The laundry room has a tower washer and dryer. The upper floor is complete with 3 bedrooms and a veranda. The spacious master bedroom with a king size bed, and a day bed, French doors leading onto the veranda with amazing water views. It has a full en-suite bathroom with a whirlpool bath, shower, and double vanity. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, and opens through French doors onto the veranda, also with beautiful water views. The third bedroom offers two twin beds and shares a full sized bathroom. The outdoor living space features chaise lounges and deck chairs in the private deck and gazebo where you can relax and enjoy the harbor views, take a dip in the crystal waters, have an alfresco dinner in the outside dinner table, or simply enjoy the millions of stars and shooting stars in the night sky. Great Exuma is known for having the most beautiful beaches in the Bahamas, so exploring is a must. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. As others point out, the house is a bit worn and needs some maintenance. We loved the secure neighborhood with pools, a fitness center, tennis courts, restaurant and a spa for our family of 5, including 3 teens. We had a 3-4 hour power outage one day and a 4-5 hour water outage another day, thanks to the island utilities. Nothing that ArisKey could do about that. While there are a few minor repairs needed, it’s about what you’d expect from a rental property.The Not-So-Good:Cleanliness Issues – While not outright filthy, the home was not thoroughly cleaned. The master shower had noticeable mildew, to the point that we wore sandals while showering. The cleaning felt very surface-level—when plugging in my phone, I was covered in dust. Having previously owned a cleaning company, I can tell this home is overdue for a deep clean.Neglected Exterior – The outside of the home is in rough shape. Paint is chipping everywhere, and many areas are stained black. Oddly, a rug was just thrown on the backyard path leading to the deck. When we arrived, trash from the previous guest was still sitting on the back deck. The deck itself is deteriorating, with sections falling apart. Overall, the exterior is in need of major maintenance.Final Thoughts:Unfortunately, we wouldn’t stay here again. With some much-needed upkeep and attention to detail, this property could be amazing, but in its current state, it’s past its prime. ##### David F. The property is right on the water with an expansive water view and very close to the beach club, pools and restaurant, the Rusty Anchor. We’ve been to Exuma 4 times and this has been our favorite rental so far. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The host, Juan is extremely quick to respond with any questions you may have. We loved staying in February Point for the first time with the amenities there: beach club, restaurant, gym, tennis courts, etc. The proximity to Georgetown is perfect; only about a mile away. The only reason I gave cleanliness a 4 is because they’re currently doing some work on the back of the house, which Juan did let us know about before we came. The house is a bit dated, such as the kitchen pots/pans, but the view, location, and resort amenities far outweigh those minor things! We did have some issues with the water being turned off each night at 10pm, so we just made sure to shower prior to that. It’s an island though, so that issue is to be expected and was no fault of the owner. We did stock up on bottles and jugs of water bc it wasn’t safe to drink the tap water. We loved the pool and Rusty Anchor restaurant/bar! Great food, and the lowest prices on kids food (anyone can purchase) we found anywhere. My teens loved the chicken finger basket and burger basket.. each only 10! Also, great location to the downtown area where you’ll find restaurants, the grocery, straw market, liquor store, and marina! The house was in a great location and had everything we needed for a wonderful week. Nicely decorated with a great dock to sit and take in the beautiful view. We really enjoyed our time at Aris Key and the property was as advertised. We snorkeled several days right off the back deck.. at the club house, snorkel out by the last rock formation right before the white bouy. The views are amazing. If you rent a boat from Minns it is such a quick ride over to February Point. There is a dock behind this home and you can pull up and load up. Juan and Kierra were so accommodating for our check in and departure. The property had many extra amenities that were so helpful for our stay. Even floaties for the water ! A short walk (or swim in our case) to the pool for guests. Close to town for that last minute item needed. Georgetown and the whole island of Great Exuma is an amazing place to visit.
