This is a fantastic location. You can see the lake when you walk out of the hotel. It’s on the same road as the manor shopping centre. It’s 5 mins walk from the Swiss tours tourist office, less than 10 mins walk from the station and 7 min - 10 min walk from la Pâquis, which is great for food options and has a famous and popular cheese place.
There is a Starbucks next door and a subway around the corner. The hotel itself is pleasant. I would say it’s a three star as there was no bar or room service. There is a restaurant, but it’s only for breakfast. To be fair there are so many places to eat and drink nearby, it’s probably a good thing they don’t have a bar and serve food.
The staff are nice and helpful and the hotel has a good feel about it and makes you feel safe. The ambassador is literally opposite it, almost next door. I think both hotels are affiliated. I probably would chose this hotel again as it was in a great location
