"This hotel needs a massive renovation! It's old and run down, probably was new about 35-40 years ago. You can move the shower head arm around in the wall, and the tubs are cracked. It took 20 minutes to get luke warm water. On the upside, the staff was wonderful and the free breakfast was great! The bar needs to open new bottles of wine every 5 days or so. "

"I would like to start with the positives. The room was a good size and clean. We booked an accessible king suite and there were plenty of grab bars in the bathroom which was appreciated. "

"I stayed 4 nights in this hotel and it wasn’t anything like my experience in Nov when I also stayed there and had a great time. First of all my bedsheet had a blood stain and looked worn, I requested to have it changed but no response till I left. Then my toilet clogged and even though I reported it three times to the front desk, it took them almost 14 hours to come and fix it . I complained and requested to have my room changed but was told the hotel was full and I would be on a waitlist and of course they never called me. The offered me a complimentary breakfast for all my trouble, imagine that! For the traumatic experience of not being able to use my own toilet for over 12 hours. That weekend the hotel was so rowdy perhaps because of spring break but the ladies guest toilet on the ground floor was stinking. This was inexcusable for a hotel of that standard. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed "

"Room was clean and that's the only highlight of our stay. Airport shuttle pickup was a joke. Was texted a pickup time and driver didn't show up until an hour after that. Front desk guy was terrible. He was so dismissive and caddy. His response to our frustration with the pickup was "there's a disclaimer that there may be delays" which I get but he could have said there was a delay during any of our calls. He just kept says driver is on their way. He also said "well you booked through a 3rd party, so ... there you go" If they don't value customers who don't book directly through them then they shouldn't be on Expedia. Future trips to Orlando will never include a stay at this La Quinta. Also the property was in extreme disrepair; hot tub covered with weathered plywood, elevator were loud and felt unsafe, ac barely functioning. Overall a very unpleasant experience."

"We arrived early after leaving a cruise ship. Asked to place our bags in a secure room, there was a charge to do so and it seemed unclear as to how secure the room would be. Asked to check in early, there were rooms available however there was a 40 dollar charge to check in early. We have never encountered this before. We paid the 40 dollars to check in early so we would have a secure place to put our luggage. The room was clean and we had already booked and paid for it through expedia so don't understand why the 40 dollar charge. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom. The pool area left a lot to be desired, the pool was not clean and there were no umbrellas or shade of any kind if you wanted a place to sit outside."
