The room was super cute and comfy. The air fent was in need of some attention. It was hard to get the AC to be in a comfortable range but the fan helped. Expedia does not make it clear that the property charges half a month before your arrival and the other half the day before. The upfront communication was excellent, especially how to enter the code. There is no front desk for the inn, but I texted with the owners during the stay. According to what I read, I thought we were going to have daily housekeeping, but that was not the case. My only concern there was I was confused re asking for towels, etc. If I missed that, then that's on me. Our suite was comfortable. It is an eclectic combination of antiques and modern appliances/amenities. I will note that the furnishings in the sitting area do not match the pictures on the website. I will also note that the flooring in the shower is uncomfortable for the feet. Please note there is a restaurant on site. While did not take advantage of it, some would consider that a plus. We did not . We could hear conversations, some quite loud, outside our door. The main issue we had relates to parking. Twice when we came back to the room while lunch/brunch was still being served, all the parking was taken. Getting back out of the small parking lot was tricky. What irritated me the most was a Lexus backed in the lot taking up two spots, with engine running. I will say here that if the restaurant grows in popularity, this may cause more parking issues for your inn guests. We did enjoy being able to stay in Sanford's historic district. We had such a short stay as our flight came in extremely late and we had to leave at 4 AM the next morning in order to catch our next flight! The room/bed was very comfortable. The decor was very cool as well. Because I made the arrangements so far in advance I was concerned that we wouldn’t receive the Text, They were right on the ball! We had what amounted to an apartment with two separate bedrooms. It was extremely convenient to Porchfest but we never ran into anyone who was running the hotel; there really isn't any service to speak of. That being said, it was clean.
