The hotel was terrific. Nice rooms, and comfortable. The kids loved the water slide. The trip was almost ruined when on the hotel's website, it showed that the water slide was going to be closed. Which was not covered on hotels.com at all. Thankfully when we arrived, there was a lifeguard and the slide was running. I think I would be ticked to pay this "Resort" fee if the major reason why i went there wasn't available.

Had a wonderful stay here for work. Spent about a week here and the room was very clean, bed was reasonably comfy and the staff were very nice! My only suggestion would be to maybe update the bathroom but I have no real complaints! Price is much more reasonable than many other hotels. Many people here are staying to recover from the hospital right nextdoor so its very very quiet.
Had a wonderful stay here for work. Spent about a week here and the room was very clean, bed was reasonably comfy and the staff were very nice! Overall everything was great. Don Cherry's is a good restaurant, but the hours open were few, especially if you returned from an event after 10 pm. There were signs apologizing for the renovations, but they must be close to being completed because there was no inconvenience whatsoever. I would definitely stay again, especially due to the proximity to the arena.

It surprised me. I had to get a motel at the last min and this was the closest place. I usually only stay at large chain hotels but this little gem will get my business again. I found staff so friendly, room was spotless and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have had in a long time. I will stay there again. Thanks for a relaxing night.

A very welcome surprise! Price was great compared to other properties listed for that weekend. Manager kindly upgraded from double to king bed and helpful with directions. Recently-renovated room was very clean, warm and having a fully-functional kitchen including sink was unexpected. Site within 10-min drive to most attractions and downtown. Sadly, area lacking in restaurants like most of interior Sudbury. While exterior may not appeal to many, what is found inside is what a weary traveller...
