« No staff on site to check us in. An envelope with instructions was left for us in the lobby (main door unlocked at ALL times). Found the room unlocked with the key hanging on the wall inside. The whole check in process is a security concern. The web site says free self-parking. There is street parking in front but limited to 3 hours. We called the management number. An operator answering the call tried to connect us to the management but got no answer. We left a message but never got a call or...

« I DO NOT recommend anyone stay at this establishment. When I returned for the day and turned on the lights roaches scattered across the floor. Roaches were even in the bed. I left and they would not give a refund for the nights I paid for. »

« Very nicely decorated room with comfy bed. The Refuge Inn is very close to the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and was a great home base for our beach day. Complimentary breakfast is delivered to your door in the morning. My only (small) critique of our stay is the breakfast options were not great and the breakfast sandwich was not that good. However, it was very convenient to have breakfast delivered and not have to waste time finding a restaurant before starting our activities. I...
