« This property is perfect for those of us who want slightly more than a local hotel offers (privacy, kitchen, pets, outdoor space, etc). After reading the reviews, my wife and I booked 2 nights with our small dog over the 4th of July weekend 2025. Everything was great and the price was very reasonable. The king bed is comfortable. « Great location and plenty of room. But what impressed me the most was the integrity of the team overseeing this property. I inadvertently left my wedding bands behind (they had gotten pushed out of sight) and I didn’t realize it until we were some hours away. I panicked but each person I spoke to was so reassuring. And sure enough the cleaning team found my jewelry and later I received instructions for how to handle the return delivery. I am so grateful! »

While the house isn’t fancy (which isn’t what we were looking for anyway), it had everything we needed and more! It has two large living areas with adequate/comfortable seating, a spacious fully stocked kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, plenty of extra bedding, a full size washer and drier, a garage, a propane grill, a picnic table, and lawn chairs...

« This lovely home and incredible setting exceeded our expectations. Our host was accommodating and once we arrived we immediately felt welcome. Great care has been taken to make visitors feel at home. The decor is charming and comfortable inside, well maintained, with everything we might possibly have needed during our stay. For us, the highlight was sitting next to Browns Creek in the morning and evening, and hearing the creek as we went to sleep each night. We hope to return again soon! »
