Very lovely place to stay in Plettenberg. Walking distance to shops and cafes. Short drive to Robberg Nature Reserve for hike lovers. Parking was super convenient. Cheers to Caroline who made our stay pleasant and took care of us.

The room was fantastic. The view is breathtaking of course. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. It was super quiet aside from the roar of the ocean in the heads which we fell asleep to every night. The food is very good too. All in all a very very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

View from the ‘Elephant room’ is stunning and the furnishings are as pictured in the photos- beautiful. Breakfast is fantastic and the hotel manager was one of the most welcoming and helpful we’ve ever experienced. The location is a bit distant from restaurants and commercial areas, but that contributes to its peaceful charm.

The Garden Route Game Lodge did not disappoint. The rondavels had the right character for being on an African safari, but still had the comforts of a great hotel. The staff was helpful and pleasant, the food was good. We cooled off in the pool, and enjoyed the views of the veld.
But the real stars of this hotel were the animals. The elephants and giraffe, the baby wildebeests and ostriches, the lions, the baby rhino and the cheetah. For a private game reserve, there was a feel that we were in...

Stunning location. Beautiful gardens and grounds. The thatched garden cottage was spotless, charming, comfortable and cozy. We were so thrilled to spend four days there. The staff was superb - helpful, friendly, acommodating and very attentive. Food was delicious, with many options. All of the little extra touches were so special and very much appreciated. We had a memorable 20th anniversary and hope to be back one day again.
