« The cabin was perfectly located for a week of exploring the Berkshires and southern Vermont. It is centrally located in the region, but feels private because it is surrounded by trees and set back from the road. It was the best stocked kitchen I've had in a rental. Relaxing by the pond was very peaceful; I particularly enjoyed the hammocks. Kayaks and a canoe were available. The cabin was spotless. »

« I stayed here with my family and my sister's family. Not cheap, and if you stay here get ready to work for it. The house has 3 "heat pumps" that provide the main heat. Additionally there are many electric heaters available in the rooms. There's a wood stove and LOTS of wood, but if you use any of it the owner will be sure to charge you.The house took a good day to warm up, and my kids were cold at night. No biggie, they piled on the blankets. There were clearly used towels and one used face...

I would definitely stay here again in the future.A couple things I would want to know as a guest:-the dish soap was empty, sponge was quite gross--we ended up buying our own-the pots were scraped up and seemingly dirty (maybe from metal utensils?) so we bought a cheap pot-low on toilet paper--we ran out the morning we leftTo be fair we didn't bother the host with these issues as they had simple solutions, and the host was very responsive »
