9/10 Wonderful! (1,007 reviews)
Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and the little ‘extras’ were a treat…a glass of champagne when we arrived, chocolate chip cookies at 4 pm and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Would love to stay here again if ever we are back in exeter

8.4/10 Very good! (727 reviews)
The signage for this hotel is very hard to see. Look for the Volvo dealership. The facility looks recently renovated. New lobby furniture looked nice and modern but was terrible to sit on. Very stiff and uncomfortable. The room was large and clean. Bathroom was clean. Bed was ok the sheets could have been made tighter and not so loose. I was told coffee is available 24 hours. I am an early riser and didn’t want to wake my friend in the room. There was a sign in the elevator that said to just ask the front desk for coffee. I did both mornings. They brought out the old leftover cold coffee. Disgusting. So much for 24 hours. Breakfast was typical boring fare. Tasteless.
There was also an incident that left me particularly disappointed in the hotel’s customer service. I overheard a front-desk employee speaking with a customer who was trying to obtain a refund. The employee told the customer that they couldn’t access the account and therefore couldn’t process the refund. After hanging up, the employee laughed and told a coworker that they actually could access the account—they simply didn’t want to. I have no idea what the circumstances were surrounding that customer’s refund, so I can only speak to what I personally heard. But hearing an employee openly admit that they had the ability to help a customer and simply chose not to was incredibly unprofessional. It certainly made me question how much confidence guests can place in what they’re told at the front desk.

7.8/10 Good! (1,003 reviews)
I booked this hotel based on its strong reviews and excellent value, and it exceeded my expectations. As it turns out, I had actually stayed here a little over two years ago, but I hadn't realized it until I arrived. My experience this time was even better than I remembered.
The hotel is exceptionally clean, well maintained, and appears to have been recently renovated. The rooms feel modern and updated, with hard-surface flooring instead of carpet, very comfortable beds, a large 4K TV, and a clean, contemporary bathroom with proper ventilation.
The complimentary breakfast is a nice bonus. It is not a luxury buffet, but it offers enough variety to get the day started on the right foot.
What impressed me most was the overall value. We've stayed in many recently renovated hotels, and this property compares very favorably to others in the same price category. Everything felt fresh, comfortable, and thoughtfully updated. I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, modern, and affordable place to stay.
