"Minutes away from Damariscotta, one of the prettiest little towns in Maine, and a short drive to Pemaquid lighthouse, my favorite place on earth, besides home. Carmen, was helpful, welcoming, and communicated instantly. The apartment was beautiful, bright, fully appointed, and quite spacious. One thing to note is that the living space is up a full flight of stairs and the master bedroom is also up a flight of stairs. We were aware of this and it wasn’t a problem for us, but might be for some. "

"The captain’s house is on a beautiful street full of stately old homes and just a 10 minute walk across the bridge to Damariscotta. The house is roomy and comfortable and has a gorgeous front porch where you can sit and watch the people passing by and look out over the river. We love it there. This is our fourth stay."

"All in all a pleasant place to stay; a bit noisy at night from the bands at the wharf and from early am truck traffic but private and close to shops & restaurants. The "easy chairs" are not so easy to get out of and too soft for back support for people who read a lot of books, but that's a minor quibble. We'd happily stay there next September if we can."

"If you want a fun glamping experience on a boat, I can't recommend Mazu enough! The location is fantastic, with live music close by and fresh lobster just steps away. The harbor offers a classic Maine vibe—truly a quintessential Maine experience! While Mazu is a bit older, it was comfortable and clean, making it ideal for our two-night stay. I can't wait for a longer visit next time! Thanks for a wonderful stay!"
