"Was super hesitant about booking because of some of the reviews. We had the best memorial weekend! Clean room ocean view!! It is true that the walls are paper thin…. However it motivated me to get up and get a spot at the pool before it filled up. Pool was cold but there is a jacuzzi so you can warm up there and get a cold plunge after. There are beach chairs available for daily or weekly rates. We didn’t travel with children but there were a lot of activities provided for them so kept them from splashing into my drink. Drinks and food at the pool was great super fast really good drinks! Thanks Becca for always remembering my cocktail and making it the second I walked up to the bar amazing anticipation of needs! The boardwalk is next door so lots of restaurants and shops to go to, there’s a coffee shop we would go to daily for coffee and bagels (we don’t do hotel breakfast buffets). The ac unit in our room was extremely noisy I personally love that sound to sleep but my boyfriend hated it so we had to compromise. There were nightly concerts outside our balcony on the beach that we enjoyed watching from our room. Thankfully they end at 10 so if you’re tryin to sleep it ends early. They had so much to do on this resort you wouldn’t want to leave. However we ventured out a few times for dinner but always glad to come back for a cocktail and fireworks on our balcony before bed! Thanks island resort team you guys are amazing keep up the great work!!!"

"This was our first stay here and it definitely will not be our last. The staff was courteous and helpful and the customer service was impeccable. The activities on site were enjoyed by all and was appreciated that everything was kid friendly, we especially enjoyed the movies by the pool. The food was good and the breakfast buffet had so many options it was easy to satisfy everyone including the picky eaters. We had a blast! Til next time HIR FWB, we can’t wait to come back! "

"I liked the fact that the property was next to the beach and had a swimming pool. The staff were helpful in watching our luggage twice, which was also good.
