« Overall the stay was great the beds could have been more comfortable. I woke up a few time sweating due to the mattress cover.when we walked down to the river there was a bunch of broken glass from beer bottles it looks like. We cleaned it up. Wonderful cottage though. »

« Loved staying at the Birds and Bees Cottage. It was so peaceful waking up each day, sitting on the porch and enjoying the views of the farm. This cottage was the perfect spot to unwind after visiting some local wineries. It was quiet and very easy to relax on the porch with a good book in the evening. Hope to return in the fall. »

« We loved staying in this cute little house tucked away at the top of the hill behind the train station (two adults, 2 kids 8 and 10). Very walkable to the downtown shops and restaurants- we barely used our car while we were there, except one grocery run. The walk does include some steep climbs in both directions but we loved the view from the park over the whole town and hills beyond. The hosts were extremely helpful before and during our stay. Highly recommend! »

« The Plainfield Cottage is a perfect getaway. We came in for a graduation and were quite busy. However, each time I stepped into the cottage, it felt peaceful, bright and clean. « This was a family gathering to celebrate a UVA graduation. We wanted to stay away from the craziness of Charlottesville. This house was perfect! Everyone in our party raved about how cute, comfy, well laid a house it is! Very well stocked - PLENTY of wine glasses! lol We hit 4 wineries and a brewery (2x) during our stay - all with/in a 5 mile radius! We would highly reccomend and would stay again - for longer - in the future! »
