The house is older, but was tastefully and comfortably decorated. My biggest concern was the steps to enter the house. Although there are few stairs, the top one is quite steep. I use a walker and have tremendous difficulty climbing any stairs or walking any distance. I had so much trouble getting into the house, because of those steps. I was in pain and in tears; we considered just leaving. If you could make the front steps more accessible, that would make a huge difference for considering the little green house for future visits. The cottage was immaculately clean, it was the perfect size for our family of four and it was easily walkable to all the fantastic shops of Crozet! The house is stocked with everything you need and the backyard was a wonderful spot for our kids to play! Amy was exceptionally responsive! The home is adorable, well decorated, and stocked with everything you need for a short or long stay. The bedrooms are very comfortable with nice bedding and good mattresses. The home is extremely clean, which I value. The owners send you the most thorough property instructions I have ever seen with a VRBO, which includes not only all the house related information, but also a guide to Crozet.
