"We stayed at the Dinah's Garden Hotel specifically because we wanted my wife and daughter to enjoy the pool while I was at work. What we found was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable for any hotel claiming to offer a family-friendly experience. The hotel allows ducks from the nearby pond to freely enter the swimming pool area. We personally saw duck feathers floating in the water, duck droppings around and near the pool, and obvious signs that the pool hygiene was being neglected. Ducks carry bacteria and germs, and no reasonable guest should have to worry about animal contamination in a hotel swimming pool. When we raised the issue with management, they completely ignored our concerns and gave the standard excuse that “the pool is cleaned every morning.” Based on what we saw, that was clearly not true or nowhere near sufficient. A pool contaminated daily by ducks cannot simply be “cleaned in the morning” and considered safe all day. This was not only unhygienic but also extremely disappointing because the pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Instead of relaxing, my family felt uncomfortable and disgusted. The management’s dismissive attitude made the situation even worse. I would strongly advise families with children to think twice before booking here unless the hotel takes pool cleanliness and guest concerns seriously."

"I’ve stayed here once before. It’s been a solid stay. Clean rooms, nice decor, pleasant staff, a standard breakfast & free parking are all appreciated. My one complaint, though no fault of the hotel; are the rooms facing the main thoroughfare. It made for a bit of a noisy night. Lighting came through even with the blinds and curtains drawn. I’d stay again but I’d opt for a room that isn’t on the El Camino Real side."

"Air conditioning works great. We parked our rental car right in front of our room. Very clean room, housekeeping daily, have great manager and staff. Shower pressure is amazing. And have a beautiful little patio for smoking and non smoking peoples. Very close to Horbees and Pasta market. Walking distance."

"I loved the layout of the property. The pool was too cold. The property is big so make sure you ask where the best place to park for your room number."

"We use to get welcome wine and charcuterie board which was such a nice touch but this was stopped. Wine is supposed to be offered but we never got any."

"This cottage was perfect for a couples staycation. The sound of the creek was so melodic and soothing. Being close to the redwoods was very calming plus the cabin was so spacious for 2 people!"
