I thought overall the property was pretty good for the price. Great staff, clean rooms, modern updated decor… good reasonably priced restaurant… However, the pool and hot tub area needs a bit of an update and organization… the deck chairs are scattered and disorganized, rust spots on the floors and walls, and just overall isn’t a very welcoming space to enjoy - or lounge out… which is a shame as it’s a nice relaxing thing to go and do… I would not recommend the pool… but everything else was great.

Cleanliness was fine. What we found disappointing was getting a text and an email at 8:00 in the morning asking us when we expect to check-out. Check-out time is at 11:00 a.m. and we had just come back from breakfast. At a hotel like Chateau Bedford you expect an elevated experience. But this didn't feel elevated at all, it felt unwelcoming and rather tacky. As an aside, we asked for a 6:00 a.m. wake-up call and it actually came at 5:00a.m.
