« Overall this home was exactly like advertised. If you are looking for a home at a reasonable price that will accommodate a large group with places to sleep and plenty of bathrooms, this is the place. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. Extremely convenient to DC. The only thing we noticed is the home is showing signs of wear from hosting larger groups and good use a bit of a refresh. »

« Beautiful and spacious, clean and updated, and comfortably housed 4 adults, with space in main living area for an air mattress if needed. Great location, and able to easily walk to Metro, area restaurants, shopping, and not a far drive from DC and other sites of interest. Host was thorough and prompt when responding to questions. Highly recommend if wanting to stay close to but outside of DC area, with easy access to Metro. LOVED IT!!! »

10. Walkable Ballston 2BR Near Metro + Parking spot

Bluemont

« The location was the only good thing about this place. There’s plastic on the couches that sit very low to the floor and are difficult to get up from. This is like a college rental. The minute I walked in we could hear everything the upstairs neighbors were saying and doing, not even during a party, just walking and talking. My elderly father was with me who has a heart issue and needs sleep so I immediately messaged the property owner asking for a refund since we could not possibly stay there....

« This was a great house for our extended family of eleven people ranging in age from 21 to 88. Nice big kitchen, comfortable gathering areas, and easy proximity to all the things we wanted to do in DC to celebrate America's 250th birthday. An outstanding feature of the house is that there are bedrooms/bathrooms on all three levels, allowing people to have some privacy and seclusion. Overall, a wonderful place to stay for any large group. »

« This basement studio apartment is very clean and presented as pictured. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to locate. Host provided thoughtful touches such as bottled water and snacks, which is always nice to have after a day of travel. There were plenty of clean towels and linens, along with bath soap and shampoo in the shower.I would note that entering the apartment requires walking down a narrow set of twelve steps, something to consider if you have mobility concerns. Additionally, the unit...
