"Great desk welcome by Melissa. This motel is in a sketchy area, but had good security with gated parking. The sinks & tub did not drain."

"Place is pretty cool being a historic hotel but does show signs of wear- it is over 100 after all. Smells a bit musty. No hot water at all evening or morning, staff didn’t seem to care and certainly not surprised. No restaurant or bar which they said was all of a sudden…not too sure about that. Breakfast included was cold cereal and microwavable egg sandwich -better than nothing. Fruit was fresh. Staff friendly and bed comfy. Would stay again if in a bind. "

"This is one of the better spots to stay in Eureka. We were there for just a real quick overnight, but it was a nice hotel, clean, safe and perfect. We will be going back.!"

"Very cool and unique hotel. We came in late and they were very accommodating. For a hotel built in 1885 it was super clean and captured the historical essence. Bed and bedding were amazing. Great bar, Phatsy Klines. Ramen House, Kokomo, was delicious."
