We loved this place. The beds were comfortable with excellent linens and pillows. The room was spotless. The front porch was a pleasure to sit on. The main lodge, where the kitchen is, was a great place to meet other guests and enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Mitchell. Heather was very welcoming and available for any questions or concerns we had. Highly recommend!

This is my third and definitely not my last time at the Carnegie. When I tell you the staff is fantastic, I mean it. There’s a red headed girl at the front desk that is phenomenal and on the ball, but every staff member is exceptional. They are accommodating, the place is lovely and it is the perfect location for anyone needing to be close to the university. Restaurant and bar are great too. I will always choose the Carnegie when. I’m in Johnson City. Also, try a facial at the spa, fantastic.
