A-frame Cabin Near Mt. Mitchell | Rustic A-Frame on Private Acre

"The best thing about this place was the cleanliness. The cabin has incredible charm.A few of things that would keep us from renting in the future..1.) The driveway is incredibly steep with gravel. On the day of arrival, my vehicle spun out. So, I had to back up and try again. I learned if I would swing really wide and keep speed without slowing down, I could get up the driveway.2.) Minimum outside lighting. It is pitch black at night on the parking pad.3.) Small outside trashcan. The house claims it sleeps eight (more on that next) yet the outside trashcan only holds 2-3 bags of garbage. Not only was it insufficient for our 9 day stay, but the trashcan has a flimsy lid that does not close securely. We had to pick up trash daily from the wildlife getting into the trash.4.) The listing says it sleeps eight, but there are only enough beds for 6.5.) Lastly, the hardest beds I’ve ever slept on."

"The view here is absolutely phenomenal—the photos truly don't do it justice. The house is very cute, cozy, and welcoming. The hot tub is a fantastic addition and offers the same breathtaking view as the front porch, making it a perfect place to relax.Check-in was simple and hassle-free, and Melissa's communication was excellent throughout our stay. It's an amazing getaway for a couple, with plenty of fantastic food options nearby.The only thing I would change is that there are only two TVs in the house, both of which are smaller and not smart TVs. Other than that, everything was wonderful.Overall, this was a 10/10 stay, and I would definitely recommend it We will be back"

"This is a fully equipped cabin with spectacular views of valley and mountains. It is quiet and secluded and provided a wonderful break from people, noise and lights in the city. We did not see as many stars as we hoped because of a full moon but the we thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and listening to the birds. Set up for a couple is perfect with extra beds on the second floor for children or guests. Porch is a great place to relax and absorb the peaceful environment. Host was accommodating and communcation was excellent. A very good experience. Thank you."

"The cabin was very cozy and clean, Julie went above and beyond for us. Our original booking was through the previous owner. She made special accommodations to allow us to keep our booking date. The outdoor space was a favorite part of the property and we enjoyed the outdoor fireplace. Great cabin and location and great host!"
