"The area adjacent to the hotel is under construction so there is a lot of noise and work going on. The room I had 123 was large and clean but in need of upgrades. Windows were not operable, sink area light did not work, outlet near bed did not work. Only stayed for one night at a very cheap rate so did not complain since needed rest and did not want to deal with issues which I worked around. There was plenty of parking and there were several eateries within walking distance and the area was safe.. The beach is not exactly walking distance but close by. Good for a short stay and understand that there might have been renovated rooms and ones in need of upgrades."

"Hotel feels like it has seen better days but is functional and property and rooms are clean . Pool and hot tub nice. Rooms could use better decor. Restaurant is closed . Needs better path to be able to go to beach which is few blocks away"

"I have stayed all over Southern California and this location and vibe can’t be beat! Very few kids stay here it is more for adults but my 18 year old daughter and I had the perfect time. The staff is great and very accommodating. For sure take a chance on this one . Tucked between Carlsbad and Encinitas. "
