"The house was really clean and actually larger than the pics show. We were there for a football tourney for my son and it fit this family of 4 perfectly. Very close to downtown Encinitas and the local beaches / trails. The host was excellent with check in and communication. Would definitely stay again.."

"This place was perfect for a family vacation to Legoland and the beach. We arrived and the kids were immediately occupied by all of the toys in the play room leaving the adults the ability to unpack and get settled in without and interruptions. The house was stocked with everything you need for a day down at the beach, we really appreciated the chairs and big wheeled beach wagons to carry our stuff and the kids loved the plentiful beach toys."

"Beautiful, classic Encinitas home. For some might be a bit dated in the wood paneling and all but we loved the authenticity and sounds of a subtle crashing ocean day and night. Eileen was amazingly responsive in coordinating our stay both before and during, you will not be left on your own if there are any questions or issues. Take note of the bedrooms and their layouts as we misinterpreted them based on the pictures and had to make some adjustments from our original plans but it all worked out...

"Quiet neighbourhood with easy walking access to the beach, restaurants and shops. Kitchen fully stocked with pots, pans, cutlery and dishes as well as a spice cabinet. Private yard perfect for reading and watching the hummingbirds."

"Great floor plan for extended family - 8 good-sized bedrooms with king or queen beds. Open kitchen/dining/family room for extended family to spend time together. Fabulous patio with plenty of chairs and loungers. Beautiful bluff and ocean view enjoyed from the patio and main floor and 2 bedrooms on oceanside."

"My best friend and I loved staying at Dee’s place for our girls trip weekend. If you are allergic to dogs it may not be for you, there were some traces of dog hair on the floor but we have dogs as well so we didn’t mind! Overall the room was clean, and perfect for a quick stay! :) Thanks Dee!"

"Check in was diaster there was no key in lockbox.had to wait dor locksmith to make new key and fix the lockbox.Property is in need off renovaties definitely it needs to be upgraded carpet had lots of stainsi on it..outside is great with pool and hot tub.Bedrooms are on the small side.We had a great time because we were visiting our chikdren and grsnd children fir Christmas."

The stairs from the garage to the main floor are carpeted and are filthy. This is also the first impression because you enter through the garage. All the bedrooms are carpeted & need replaced as well. The master had an odor but improved with fabric disinfectant. The gas fireplaces were both non-functional, despite the additional energy charge.
