We found a super last minute deal on expedia for this high end hotel. They allowed our dog to stay for $150 for 11 nights and so this was great! Staff was friendly and the room was clean and cozy. Great location that is close to jogging trails, beaches, nice little town of Encinatas and the beaches. Definitely would recommend this to others and stay again if the price was right! I would take note on the valet parking as this is an added fee of $35 a night! You can park down the hill and walk up...

Loved the property, great amenities, beautiful room and VERY comfortable bed and pillows. The front desk staff seemed to be quite new and not terribly well informed but I imagine that was unusual. I would definitely stay here again.

$29 each night for parking! That’s the only thing bad about this place. We payed enough for the room and food here that the parking should be free!

Second time we stayed at this resort. The view of the ocean and the big rooms are great. The staff are friendly, and there's so much to do: volleyball; ping pong; billiards; tennis; basketball; and crafts or yoga. Lovely adult pool and fun separate children's pool and splash pad. Great villages and beaches nearby for day trips. Perfect location.

This hotel was perfect for what we were looking for - an urban getaway across the street from a beach yet within a couple blocks of shops and superb restaurants. Beautifully appointed but undergoing reno's this fall, so excited to see the new look in 2017. We are already planning our return. Staff was superb, food excellent. Really wonderful two-bedroom suite, was perfect arrangement for my family while on our vacation. Building was old but maintained satisfactorily. The lack of daily housekeeping was not ideal, and when they did come in every other day, the floors were not vacuumed - only the beds were made and towels refreshed.
