Cute motel and very friendly staff! However, we slept with ear plugs as the walls are thin (there was a noisy party on the first floor underneath us) and a flag pole on the property had a rope clanging against it in the wind all night long. The a/c wall unit could use a cleaning as it was a bit musty smelling. Otherwise everything was okay.

Right across from the Bogue Pier and the beach. Went in the off season so rates were reasonable. This was our 2nd visit. Will go back and fish some more!

My friend and I stayed for two nights. The bed very comfortable with quality linens. Great location five-hundred feet from the pier and restaurants.

I choose this hotel when I come down to fish. The Bouge pier is really close. Beds are comfortable. Shower has great water pressure and its hot! Coffee pot is a nice touch. AC is not really sized appropriately to keep the room cool in the Summer. Big picture window is nice but makes the AC struggle. Also some weatherstripping along the doors would hold in more of the cool air. Full disclosure: I am HOT natured and like it COLD when I sleep at the beach. Its a no-frills, budget-friendly, nice place. I will definitely stay here again!

The stay was okay. Tvs were very small. Coffee was nasty. Wifi didn't work great. But the beds were the best. I got great sleep.

Outwardly this property scores well. The staff were attentive at check in, and it is in close proximity to the beach. Despite opening the door and smelling a heavy aroma, which we thought were from cleaning chemicals but now think may have been pest control chemicals, initial impressions of the room were positive, until we looked at walls that were stained or in process of repair but not complete. However, the true issue were bed bugs. We failed to do the bug inspection, and have bites that can only be attributed to bed bugs. If you opt to stay here make sure to inspect the beds.

Please do keep in mind that this is the beach and it gets very muggy which mosquitos, sand fleas & other biting flies thrive in. Perhaps you were bitten outside the room. This was as a quick getaway for us and the staff was wonderful , the room was clean and the staff came in everyday to straighten up and give us new towels! Proximity to the beach and pier was unbeatable. Would definely staff again.

This room was way nicer than expected, we stayed on the renovated side and the room was spotless. Only issue was the toilet seat had a broken screw. Also probably the best you can find for an inn/motel.

I loved staying at this inn. It was super close to the beach though it’s not beach front, 5 minute walk at most. The prices was reasonable. Staff was genuinely friendly. The only negative is that the floors of my room were not mopped. The room was very clean overall, but I couldn’t walk barefoot. It’s understandable, though, because sand gets everywhere. I definitely plan on booking my next vacation here again!

Did like a bar close to property, was loud and noisy at night . Other occupants kept walking across the floor extremely loud all hours so we could get any sleep.

Quick and easy check in. Comfy beds. Within sight of the ocean. The pier is very cool. We saw lots of porpoises playing around the pier. Coffee was hard to find till 7 on a Saturday morning.
