When you open the door, prepare to enter another world. The newly appointed cabin was created with you in mind. We hope you will feel rested and refreshed by the end of your stay! The Space: Roadrunner Cabin Although the roadrunner bird is the state bird of New Mexico, Texas possesses vast numbers also. The roadrunner seems very determined in its journey. It may wait until your vehicle is near before crossing the road, but once underway forges ahead unhesitatingly. If you are looking for a getaway for two that is disabled accessible, forge ahead to the Roadrunner cabin. It provides ground-level entry with no steps or stairs, wide doorways, step-in shower, extra high toilet and limited under-counter cabinets. The HVAC unit is wall mounted, allowing complete operation from a convenient low height. A king-size bed permits ample room to rest and inviting seating is adjacent to the bed. The spaciousness of the combined living and sleeping quarters allows for easy mobility around the room. The chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker. Need Internet access? Individual Wi-Fi is provided in the cabin. Have a Roku subscription? Stream your favorite content to the TV. A full list of amenities is below. Conveniently located to local area attractions, the cabin is only 15 minutes from Homestead Heritage Craft Village, Magnolia Silos, and Baylor University, just to name a few. We invite you to vacation a while in the Roadrunner cabin. (And if you feel the need to relax, stretch out unhesitatingly on the comfy king-size bed!) Guest Access: Guests will access the door with a four-digit code. Please check your text/email messages for your code. The Neighborhood: Waco Creekside Resort Majestic oak trees provide a restful, sun dappled environment for your stay. Our rural location is peacefully removed from adjacent commercial clutter and noise, yet is only minutes from interstate access and shopping. Getting Around: Please see the park map for directions to your rental. Other Things to Note: The Roadrunner cabin accommodates two guests with its comfy king-size bed. The spaciousness of the combined living and sleeping quarters allows for easy mobility around the room. The chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker. There is a fishing pond in the center of the property that is stocked with largemouth bass and sunfish. It is catch and release only right now. We also have a double pickle ball court on site. Conveniently located to local area attractions, the cabin is only 15 minutes from Homestead Heritage Craft Village, Magnolia Silos, and Baylor University, to name a few. It was perfect for my Mom and I to catch our breath and enjoy nature but also be comfortable. Everything about our cabin was perfect- the bed and bedding was so comfortable (I am a bed and bedding snob) We were not missing anything we needed - I have stayed in so many places - this was my favorite and we will be back! It was a perfect g spot to sit out and have our coffee or wine.It was also perfectly spotless and clean! Thank you we loved it.
