Spend a lazy day floating the river or walk to Sun Country Golf Course for a quick round and still have time to fish the evening hatch on the upper Yakima River! Updated and well-designed 2 bedroom, 1 bath home with additional sleeping loft can comfortably sleep 6 (2 queen beds, 2 full beds). High speed internet, gas fireplace, and A/C as well! Minutes to Suncadia, Roslyn, and Cle Elum. 10.5' maximum vehicle height. You will need to pass under a railroad trellis to enter the neighborhood.

Trout Hunter's Cabin is excellent
I really enjoyed listening to the river rushing by while resting in the cabin. Friends came to enjoy a couple of evening gatherings and every one of them said, "where did you say you found this place?" Definitely recommend making your reservation before it is booked up by my friends. :)

Short but sweet
The location was great. Loved the riverfront setting. Everything in the house worked fine. I suggest that all the windows and sliding glass doors be cleaned before every rental. They were very dirty and looking out at the river is one of the main reasons to be here, and the dirty windows showed a lack of understanding of what might be important to a guest.

Good with a few problems
Overall we enjoyed our stay and found it completely adequate. The house is cute and steps away from the river! The two bedrooms and bathroom are right next to each other behind the kitchen space. There are two double beds in the loft, ample room for two adults. The AC unit is up in the loft space and it can get really warm in the bedrooms downstairs if you don’t leave the doors open through the night. All the beds were on the stiff side. The water pressure is superb! The kitchen is adequately stocked, though there was no colander. There was an array of spices/salt and pepper but no olive oil. The grill worked great! There were two major cons of our stay—first, the floor was dirty and sticky in several places upon arrival. Second, and the worst part, one of the two beds in the loft was covered in bugs—Earwigs, mosquito’s, flies, other small bugs— when we pulled off the blankets.

Broken sliding door should have been fixed before we came. Slow draining bathroom sink. Loose shower faucet handle which we fixed. Instructions for air conditioning were not clear. Everything else was good.
