"Other than the tired, dated decor, this hotel was excellent. Our room was a 2 room suite with a nice size balcony with Mountain View. There are several pools and hot tubs, both inside and out, which was nice after hiking all day. On site restaurant served delicious food and had amazing views of cascades. Closest hotel to Yosemite."
"Room was basic, clean, comfortable. Several outside seating areas. Nice area by river across street. Indoor pool was warm and good hot tub.
Restaurant & bar menus were short with a few different items on each.
Easy, scenic drive to Yosemite.

"The lodge has newly renovated rooms with hardwood floors. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is next to a full service restaurant where you can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We only had breakfast and we enjoyed it. The lodge is about an hour drive from Yosemite village so be prepared to get up around 6am and be on the road by 7am to find parking in Yosemite. You may also hear birds in the early morning hours while you're sleeping. If you're asleep then the birds will not disturb your sleep. There was very little road noise. The ironing board was a bit dirty. The television had a red line from top to bottom but we could still watch the TV. Overall a comfortable stay."

"Nice stay. Building is a little run down but nothing that made the stay uncomfortable. We loved the heated pool and hot tubs. And dinner was great at the restraint on site ! Staff shuttled us to the cottages which made it very convenient !"
"The location is off the beaten path, but for good reason. Its such a beautiful place and location. The cabin I stayed in was nice and quaint, nothing fancy but perfect for a three day stay. They had a small restaurant with bar and a small gift shop that had fresh coffee and snacks for your hike. Overall I would highly recommend this place, especially if you want to get away from the city and spend some time closer to nature. I will be back for sure, but for a longer stay😊"

"Gorgeous location. Excellent food. Comfy beds. Sturdy but soft pillows. Wonderful water pressure in the shower.
The grounds are soooo beautiful. Like it’s been built right into the surrounding nature.
Quiet. The food was delish. Bar at the Tavern is so fun.
The staff are incredibly sweet. And knowledgeable about everything.
Only negative: we called twice for them to come clean our room, even though we had declined room service earlier. They said we could call if we wanted it at any time. But no one ever showed. "
