"There was dried snot on the long pillows , the ac didn’t work they said it was shut off when it was like 75 degrees out . The staff were alright . Parking was close. That’s probably the only plus with this hotel "

"The front desk was welcoming and answered all my questions. The shuttle was clean, on time and the driver explained everything at the drop off. The manager and bartender in the restaurant were wonderful. Great food and drinks."

"The outside beauty is the best part of this hotel. The description says deep soaking tub. That was clearly a heavy fabrication. It was a regular tub with cracks in it. They have you pay extra for a view, when the view is the parking lot. And the curtain had a rip in it, causing it to start falling off the rod. When I saw something crusty on the ice tongs, I left early! Never again. 😤"

"Clean rooms, staff was always friendly and courteous, express checkout is always a breeze, room service was quick. Only downside was the amount of time you have to wait for and little space inside elevators. There are 3 elevators, but basically only 2 work all the time as one is used also for service and they have to serve 40+ floors taking too much time sometimes to leave or get into your room. Besides this minor inconvenience, our time at this hotel was great and the location was ideal as it is close to several Subway stations. There is also a nice restaurant next to its entrance. "

"I stayed at the Hampton Inn because it was advertised as the closest airport to EWR. It is as the crow flies but not as the car drives. It is about a 15 minute drive. There is a 24 hour airport shuttle, which was another reason I chose this hotel, however, it drops you off at the Air Train and not at a terminal. As an older traveler, I could not handle the Air Train with my bags so I took an Uber. For this reason, I would not stay here again, but I would choose a hotel where the shuttle drops you off at a terminal. The hotel is also quite noisy as it faces a freeway on ramp as cars are accelerating all night up the ramp. The rooms themselves are lovely. Best designed hotel room I have ever seen, very dark, wall thermostat instead of controls on the window unit, great bedding, compartmentalized bathroom with the sink outside the bathroom, lots of hooks to hang your stuff and STREAMING ON THE TV so you can use your Netflix! all hotels should have streaming. Also since I left at 5am in the morning, I very much appreciated the grab and go breakfast of a bagel with peanut butter, cream cheese and jam plus a piece of fruit plus a bottle of water. Mostly two thumbs up for this excellent hotel. Except for the shuttle dropping you off at the Air Train, I would stay there again."

"Everything clean, no problem with check-in, the only thing the refrigerator it’s doesn’t work in my stay. Overall, was an excellent hotel."
