Initially we chose this place because it's within walking distance of the city central. It exceeded our expectations. It's on a quiet side street and is a historic building, lovingly restored. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine in the morning before our breakfast. In the evening, after walking around all day, we relaxed in the library with a whisky. It was like being in someone's beautiful estate.

Nice decor, very clean, and a lovely view from the room across the river to Dean Village. Well located for the city, trams, and attractions; a nice restaurant in the sister hotel is a short walk away. Breakfast was a little chaotic; my order was forgotten twice, but that was the only niggle.

Quaint and great stay in Edinburgh close to the castle and centre, in a quiet street and the restaurants around with great food. Superb views over Dean Village from our windows with overlook to Edinburgh skyline. Only drawback was that the elevator was broken, but the friendly staff helped us with the luggage up the stairs. Can really recommend this stay.

The hotel was just beautiful! We stayed in the family suite which was spacious for three adults, view of Dean Village was remarkable, and the lounge/library were all so beautiful. It was pricey but given that all hotels in Edinburgh are quite pricey, I would recommend B+B Edinburgh for its clean facilities and perfect location right in city center.

Absolutely wonderful! Kind and welcoming staff at check in. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful view. The decor was just magnificent! Breakfast was delicious and hearty! Great coffee and the views were excellent. We walked to a local Pub which was an easy walk. Highly recommend!

The hotel is incredibly beautiful and was exactly as advertised when I first viewed their website a couple months ago when I booked. The view from our room was amazing. The staff were very helpful and helped us out with finding our way around and restaurants in the area. Breakfast was really good, especially the Eggs Royale (Scottish smoked salmon, yummy!). The only suggestion I’d have is to have a 2nd person helping out in the morning to help out with the breakfast crowd.
